Settings

The settings page is organised in tabs. Switching tabs never loses what you typed: every field is sent together by the Save Settings button.

Every setting on this page is available in the free version. Premium adds the choice of the 12 formats other than FEC, and the automatic monthly export.

Default accounts and journals

Default values below are those of the French chart (PCG); the setup wizard replaces them with the accounts of the chart you apply.

VAT per tax class

A table lists the tax classes actually configured in WooCommerce (Standard and any additional classes). Map an account to each; an empty field uses the default VAT account. Each rate present on an order produces its own entry line.

VAT One-Stop-Shop (OSS)

For B2C distance sales within the European Union, enable the OSS breakdown, set the home country (the shop’s country by default) and map a VAT account to each destination country. When an account is set for the order’s billing country, it takes priority over the tax class mapping.

The plugin does not tell B2B from B2C automatically. If you also sell B2B within the EU (reverse charge), leave the OSS account of the country concerned empty or handle the exception with your accountant.

Payment gateways

For each active gateway, enter a treasury account (bank or cash account). An order paid through that gateway then produces a payment entry in the payment journal. The optional third column names the order meta that holds the fee, if the gateway is not recognised.

Without an account, no payment entry is generated for that gateway, and the export says so (“N payment(s) not exported: gateway without a treasury account”). These payments are not locked: fill in the account, then run the export of the same period again; the missing payments come out on their own, without issuing the invoices again.

Sales by product category

Map a sales account to a category (for example one account for “Furniture” and another for “Installation services”). Each order line is posted to its category’s account; lines are grouped by account in the entry. A variation uses the categories of its parent product; a product without a mapped category, or deleted, falls back to the default sales account. If a product has several mapped categories, the first one found is used: map a single “accounting” category per product.

Customer accounts

  • Single Collective Account (default 411000 in the French chart): every order on the same account, with a generic customer label.
  • Dynamic Individual Accounts: free prefix and total length. With 411 and 9 characters, customer no. 7 becomes 411000007. A guest order falls back to the collective account.

Order statuses

By default, Completed and Processing orders are exported. The Refunded status is always exported: the sale did happen, and its credit note cancels it.

Document number

SourceBehaviour
WooCommerce order numberDefault behaviour. Not sequential.
PDF Invoices & Packing SlipsInvoice number from that plugin (formatted, prefix and suffix included).
Custom order metaAny order meta of your choice, for any other invoicing plugin.
Sequential numbering generated by this plugin<prefix>-<year>-<number>, for example FA-2026-00001, one counter per year, assigned once and never changed.

If the chosen source gives no number for an order, the order number is used and a warning is logged. Generated numbering is only meaningful if it matches the invoices actually given to your customers: check with your accountant.

Applying a chart replaces the accounts, the journals and the VAT mapping. When you switch to another chart, the category, OSS and gateway mappings are cleared (unless you choose to keep your mappings) so that two charts are never mixed. Re-applying the same chart does not clear them. The Reset mappings button lets you start from scratch.

German charts: customer account 10000. In DATEV, 1400 (SKR03) and 1200 (SKR04) are collective accounts fed by the debtor accounts: DATEV refuses direct postings to them. The collective mode therefore uses the generic debtor 10000, the individual mode one debtor per customer (prefix 1, 5 digits).

These charts are starting points: have the accounts validated by your accountant before the first export.
