No image is sent before an administrator has connected the site and accepted the sending. The contact email is used to link your purchases to your site and to contact you about the service, never for marketing.
On our servers
- The service runs on our servers in Europe, operated by ZM Labs.
- The artificial intelligence models run on our own servers: no third-party AI provider receives your images or your texts.
- The image is deleted as soon as its analysis is finished.
- Your images are only used to describe them: never to train a model, never sold or shared.
- No access log. IP addresses are only used for rate limiting and are not stored.

Your privacy policy
SafeAlt suggests a text to add to your privacy policy, in WordPress Settings → Privacy. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available on request at contact@zmlabs.net.
Payment
Paid plans are sold by Freemius. When you buy from the plugin, the administrator’s email address is pre-filled in the Freemius payment form; no image or content from your site is sent to it. See also our privacy policy.
